I had a great experience with Peter! Because I had been driving for a few years abroad I had picked some bad habits along the way, he helped me recognise and unlearn them, while helping me understand about the key things about driving in the UK. He was incredibly kind and helpful throughout, felt like one of your mates rather than an instructor. When he couldn’t accommodate my last-minute test date, he arranged for a friend to step in, which really saved me. Thanks to his guidance, even though I only had a few lessons, I passed my test on the first attempt! Highly recommend!

Fantastic instructor, calm and patient, won't just get you through your test but will make you a good driver. Very fairly priced and cannot recommend enough to anyone looking to get through their test.

As someone who had put off driving lessons for a year or two out of apprehension, and quite frankly due to the sought-after nature of the few in Boston, I'm glad I got Pete under recommendation. Pete is a very direct speaker and takes you through the course by the book, but with his added banter and wit. That's not to say he'll rush you through if you're not ready, but he will do his diligence to explain and take you through at the learner's own pace. Having ADD, I did have the hallmark of drifting focus, occasionally doing my own thing. But in practice, after not making progress or a few bungled attempts at, say, reverse parking, the logic and ease of Pete's explanation won me over. A key problem that reared its head with me a lot was rushing, which would inevitably lead to poor practices, such as slowing down too abruptly at turns, junctions, and stopping unnecessarily at roundabouts. This inevitably led to less time for observation and signals. Pete helped me slow it down and remember that a smoother approach will breed calm and safe driving practices.

Pete is a great driving instructor. He gives instructions in a way that's easy to understand and he's more than happy to show you how to do a manoeuvre. He's calm and doesn't get frustrated easily. He talks to you about the manoeuvre before you do it and talks to you about your mistakes to help you work them out. I would highly recommend him. |

Well you basically saved me from never ever being able to drive so I'm grateful for that, and not only were you a great driving instructor but also just an overall great person, you made the lessons fun and enjoyable and made me excited to be able to drive. When I'd get things wrong you'd be patient and we'd learn how to correct it together. We also had great laughs and chats!!

I couldn’t recommend Pete enough. He was patient and kind. As a very nervous driver he made me feel so at ease and gave me the confidence I needed with driving. He was able to give positive constructive feedback and still make it feel light hearted. I honestly wouldn’t have been able to pass first time if it wasn’t for his help and I’m so grateful! Definitely recommend for both new and drivers with some experience.
